scrub up
Give your circulation a boost and your skin a Spring overhaul with a body scrub.

The benefits of gentle scrubbing aren’t to be underestimated. In fact, exfoliating is the best way to get rid of dead cells that make the skin look dull and lacklustre.

The key to getting the best results with a body scrub is to be gentle when you’re scrubbing.

Apply a small amount of product to a soft washcloth and scrub gently in a circular motion while slowly moving down the body from shoulders to feet.

You really don’t need to apply much pressure as the scrub particles provide the abrasive goodies.

Plus, being rough with a body scrub can cause skin irritation and scratches. Once you’ve covered your body, rinse and apply a thin layer of moisturiser.

Here are some scrubs to try:

Clarins Exfoliating Body Scrub
Enriched with natural bamboo powder, this refreshing, exfoliating treatment effectively rubs away rough, flaky surface cells and impurities, giving skin a sleek new start.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E Cocoa Body Scrub

Kiehl’s Gentle Exfoliating Body Scrub
Available in Lavender, Grapefruit, Coriander and Pear, these gorgeous-smelling scrubs remove dead surface skin cells without over-drying, leaving skin feeling silky-soft, refreshed and primed. © Cover Media
