1. Try new products two months in advance
If you’re trying out a new skin care routine or product, be sure to test it out six weeks to two months in advance. We’ve heard horror stories of brides breaking out when they try to include too many things in their skincare routine too close to the wedding day!

2. Get an even skin tone!
Unless you want unsightly tan lines, we recommend you to stay away from the beach right before the wedding – especially if you’re wearing a sleeveless dress. Besides, if you’re naturally fair, it will look very unnatural if you’re seven shades darker during the wedding!

3. Wax it off
If you’re planning on getting your first-ever bikini wax, here’s the golden rule: begin the process at least three months beforehand. If you get it done just before your wedding, it might cause major pain, swelling and irritation on your wedding night – especially if this is your first bikini wax! The same rules apply for waxing your facial hair off.

4. When to go for your facial?
If you’re going for a facial, book your appointment a week or so beforehand. As there is always the possibility of your skin reacting to the products used, you want to make sure you have plenty of time to remedy any mishaps!

5. Brows
The same rule applies to your brows. If you need to get them threaded or plucked, do so one week in advance. Not only does this allow it to grow (your brows look better after a few days, anyway), you can also avoid redness around your eyebrow area on the wedding day itself.

6. Drink up!
Hydrating yourself is very important for your skin and overall wellbeing. Double up on your water intake for at least one month prior to the wedding – this keeps your skin clear and glowing! Also, definitely avoid alcohol as much as you can and save it for special occasions (like on your wedding day).
