A glittering gold & white ballroom wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel
Jenn Tan and Jiaming Soh, both 28, tied the knot in a celebration with a classy gold and white theme at the Four Seasons Hotel Singapore.

“We met in school but only became close after graduation, and while hanging out with mutual friends. We finally got together during a Christmas party!" shares Jenn.
The couple spent many nights planning their wedding over Skype, with Jiaming often being away for long periods of time due to his occupation as a RSAF pilot.
"Managing a long-distance relationship and planning the wedding was quite the challenge for us. But it was worth it. We are so glad we made it happen with a beautiful party. We do wish we could have spent more time with all those who came though."

"During the gatecrashing, I was a ball of emotions until my husband entered the room and I felt a sense of peace. In fact, every time I felt overwhelmed during our reception, he was my rock."
The couple's vintage wedding ride was kindly lent to the couple by the bride's cousins.
The bridesmaids were dressed in varying hues of soft pastels while the groomsmen went for sharp suits and classy white bow ties.
"We wanted something classic. As our planning progressed, we realised most of our decisions veered towards a gold and white theme. Then it was love at first sight when we checked out the gorgeous French windows of the elegant Four Seasons Ballroom."
A frame-worthy shot of the newly-weds. Jenn carried a simple clutch of calla lilies for her bridal bouquet - which are her favourite flowers.
The couple served Chinese food and had two kinds of seating with gold tiffany chairs and white cushions to match their theme: two rows of long tables for 60 guests along the aisle in the ballroom, plus round tables for everyone else.
Their proposal story:
"Jiaming proposed to me on Christmas Eve six years after we’d gotten together. After a picnic on the beach at Pulau Palawan, he led me to the southernmost point of the islet that had been beautifully lit. To my surprise, he got on one knee with a speech, and as soon as I accepted, our families as well as friends, who appeared from out of nowhere, started cheering us on."
For the couple, the gorgeous French windows of the ballroom were a main highlight.
"The simple act of serving tea to our parents felt incredibly humbling and right to me," shared Jenn.
"And, although we’d registered our marriage a year before the celebration, it didn’t feel the same until we’d completed the customary rituals," she adds.
