Former actor Joshua Ang, 29, got wed to his beau, air stewardess Shannon Low, 27, last Saturday with a wedding by the beach.

Best known for his role in Jack Neo’s I Not Stupid in 2002, Ang proposed to his wife in Bali last December - which was where they went for their first trip together.

The couple celebrated their nuptials at a beach wedding held at Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa with 180 guests and ended it with a bang with fireworks.

Day 3 of post wedding: Thank you all so much for making our special day so magical. To all those who went above and beyond to help out, to those who came to witness our special moment, and to those who took out time to be present to hear me drunk singing. But most importantly, I want to thank my wife. I promised to protect you, and I would give up my life doing so. If you ever feel that the World has its back turned against you, look again, because I'm behind you. If you feel that the weight of the World is on your back, I will carry and shoulder them with you. I love you, and the best is yet to be. Love, Joshua.

They shared pictures taken during their pre-wedding shoot in Bali and their actual day celebrations on both their Instagram accounts.

His former co-star from I Not Stupid, Shawn Lee, was also in attendance.

As told to local media, the couple met two years ago when Ang was studying part-time for a Banking and Finance degree in Murdoch University.

Congratulations to the two!
