Fiona Han and Khye Chan, both 30, exchanged vows in front of their guests at a garden-themed, indoor banquet at Four Seasons Hotel.
Khye and I met on Tinder and hit it off immediately. We spent the entire night chatting on the app. He asked me out for dinner the very next day and the rest is history!
I’ve always wanted an outdoor wedding. However, because of Singapore’s unpredictable weather, we decided not to risk it and went with a garden theme that was set indoors.
Leaving everything in the hands of the Inside The Knot team was one of the best decisions we made.
Fiona’s bouquet consisted of blooms in blush pink and pastel yellow and blue. “I was lucky that my favourite flower, the peony, was in season. I loved my bouquet so much that I kept it as a decorative piece for my room.”she shares.
Meeting his bride!
“I was exhilarated yet nervous when walking down the aisle, but when I saw Khye waiting for me, I calmed down and couldn’t wait to say ‘I do’,”confesses Fiona.
Instead of the usual round tables, they had elegant, long banquet tables.
Our wedding favours matched the garden theme. They also hold a symbolic meaning for us.
Although small in size, succulents can withstand harsh conditions and grow well with proper care. We wanted to give these to our guests as a blessing for their relationships.
Our solemnisation on stage in the presence of our guests in the ballroom was a highlight.
It was heartening to listen to the speeches and toasts from our friends, and the day was filled with so much warmth.
We are genuinely grateful for how things turned out, thanks to communicating clearly with wedding vendors and not take anything for granted!
