"My wedding gown was custom-made by Indonesian designer Stella Lunardy. I'd been following her on Instagram, and flew to Jakarta for a consultation. After sketching out designs for me, I chose the Chantilly lace mermaid for our solemnisation. It came with a detachable organza outer skirt that I removed before the first march-in and cake cutting.
Carina's bouquet was a clutch of soft-petalled blooms in gorgeous pastels, and accented with striking red roses.
The groom opted for a dark navy suit from Prada, with a peach floral boutonniere.
"Our bridal party helped us pull our crazy ideas together, and liaise with the vendors when we were swamped. Such gems."
Ladies in lilac: The bridesmaids looked elegant in flowing dusty lilac convertible dresses.

"It was really important that our guests enjoyed themselves, so we had an arcade claw machine filled with hand creams, lip glosses, nail polishes and chocolates."

The wedding cake was a towering five-tier confection dressed with floral motifs.
"I found my dream dress for the evening - a Marchesa tulle number with crystals and sequins - way before we'd even started planning our wedding. I fell in love with it when Olivia Wilde wore it to the 2011 Golden Globe Awards. Of course, I couldn't find it anywhere, so I contacted Lesley Moran, Marchesa's director of sales. They had the very same dress Wilde wore in their archives and sold it to me! The sequins, which looked like stars in the night sky, inspired our invites and banquet decor."

"Su Yuan was great at calming my nerves whenever they got the better of me. He'd give my hand a little squeeze, and tell me from time to time that I didn't have to worry about a thing. When everything was over, we returned to our suite, I slipped into bedroom slippers and we put on some music, drank and ate to our heart's content, and laughed about the crazy day we'd just had. We didn't even change out of our outfits. One of my favourite memories."
