CHEEKS
1. Rosy flush
Sweep a rosy brown shade (preferably cream) that is slightly darker than the natural colour of your skin. Then blend a pinkish blush in pressed powder form diagonally (with an angular brush), for an effortless rosy flush.

2. Subtle contour
Skip the heavy contouring (you don't want to look too angular like the Kardashians sometimes do). Opt for a subtle contour using contouring powder just a shade or two darker than your complexion to bring out your cheekbones.

FACE
3. Golden glow
Even if you are already using face masks and getting your beauty sleep for a healthy glow, there is nothing wrong with using highlighters to help you achieve a lit-from-within look. Apply highlighter where light naturally hits - the top of your cheekbones, the bridge of your nose, forehead, chin, and cupid’s bow. Choose a highlighter shade that complements your skin tone. Cool-toned beauties should go for pink highlighters and warm-toned beauties should try champagnes.

4. Concealer
Concealer is every tired bride’s saviour! But instead of dotting concealer under your eyes, apply it in the shape of an inverted triangle, and blend well! This will lighten up and lift your under-eye area, and does a better job at concealing your dark circles. Another trick is to apply concealer to the inner corners of your eyes to brighten your eyes.
Try: Marc Jacobs Remedy Concealer Pen, $44, Sephora.

LIPS
7. Natural pink lips
Use lipstick one shade brighter than the natural colour of your lips, instead of using dramatic dark/red lipsticks. You can use pastels or light shades - like pinks and peaches.

8. Line your pout
Use a neutral lipliner to play up your pout - so your lips appear fuller, younger and more defined. Using a lipliner will also increase staying power and prevent colour from feathering and bleeding into fine lines.
