Shiseido’s first cushion foundation showcases its signature floral-like design on a smooth black surface, which looks like it’s got an additional layer of lacquer on. Similar to its Synchro Skin Foundation, this intuitive formula offers medium coverage, and adjusts itself according to the changes in your skin’s moisture and shine levels to ensure a bright, clear lasting finish. Price unavailable, available at all Shiseido counters in October 2016.
Packed with brightening properties such as its Precious Mineral Brightener, that gives skin a luminous glow, the formula also promises coverage that lasts up to eight hours, and blurs skin’s imperfections. In three shades. $32, at all Etude House stores.
Following the success of its Fresh Nude liquid foundation, the formula now comes in the more portable form of a cushion compact. The multi-tasking vegan foundation (ingredients include English rose water and aloe vera) promises to last for 24 hours, and offers hydrating benefits, and semi-matte coverage. Za’s first cushion compacy comes packed with hydrating and brightening ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, vitamins C and E in its formula that translates to a dewy, radiant glow when applied. The foundation is said to last for eight hours. In three shades, fair, light, and natural. $28.50 for the primary pack, and $20.50 for refills, available in Watsons from Oct 6, 2016.
Armed with the new Dual Whitening Technology, the compact comes with a pearl and water coating, which reflects light, and provides a moist, dewy finish. The compact comes with a lightweight, pillowy sponge that picks up the product and adheres to your face easily. Available in six shades. $88, at YSL Beaute counters.
Despite its rich, pigmented formula, the foundation glides on skin easily, and offers high coverage, without feeling too heavy on. OTher benefits include: hydrating properties, sun protection, and long-wear finish. $78 at all Lancome counters.
The lightweight Microfit Cushion helps brighten skintone and offers a dewy finish, while the Moonflash Cushion illuminates dull skin thanks to its invisible pearl ingredient and milky-pink hue. $24 and $36, available at Sephora.
