Lee Hwa Jewellery

Its new space at Suntec City, Lee Hwa’s Jewelspace, is a swanky, welcoming and interactive store that’ll give your jewellery designing experience extra oomph.

Over at the My Personal Designer booth, couples get to customise their ring (you’ll be able to choose the texture, colour of the gold bands, diamond setting as well as the engraving of symbols, words, and/or a hand-written message) via an intimate session with an experienced designer. Prior to the rendering of the final piece, you’ll also be able to see photo-realistic images of the design. Plus point: Depending on the final design, you can expect to receive your custom piece from as early as two weeks!

My Personal Designer is exclusively available at the Lee Hwa Jewellery Diamond Promenade at ION Orchard and Lee Hwa’s Jewelspace at Suntec City. Prices for customisation start from $500 and customers can arrange for their one-to-one sessions online at https://leehwajewellery.com/pages/appointment-request-form.

Soo Kee Jewellery

Design your own dream ring from scratch at Soo Kee Jewellery’s flagship store! At its Bespoke Experience Bar, you’ll start with a consultation session where an experienced jewellery designer will take you through the 4Cs (cut, clarity, colour and carat) of a diamond, as well as discuss the elements of your love story to incorporate in the design.

You’ll also get to choose from a selection of materials, different gold finishes and brilliant diamonds. Once a pencil sketch is done in the store and the design’s finalised, Sookee will create a 3-D render at its headquarters and send the digital images to you via Whatsapp or e-mail, so you can make tweaks if you wish. You don’t even have to make another trip to the store! Next, you’ll be presented with a wax mould so you can be sure your sparkler is just as you envisioned.

The Soo Kee Jewellery flagship store is at #01-27A Vivocity.

Gioia Fine Jewellery

If you’re looking for an alternative to the diamond solitaire, make your way to Gioia Fine Jewellery. Beyond diamonds, founder and designer Cheryl Woon also specialised in crafting one-of-a-kind rings that incorporate coloured gems (think tourmaline and tanzanites as well as pink gems like spinels and morganites) as well as jade and pearls.

“For bespoke pieces, I design based on the concept that every piece of fine jewellery should be created specifically for the wearer, to suit her distinctive style and personality,” she shares.

She’ll also talk you through the significance behind each of the gemstones, so you’ll understand and appreciate the rarity and notable characteristics that each possess.

GIOIA Fine Jewellery is located at #02-97A International Plaza, 10 Anson Road, Singapore 079903. For more information, visit https://gioia.com.sg

The design process can take up to five weeks, and comprises three concept designs within three weeks of the first brief. You can then pick your favourite, or discuss other options for Carolyn to work on.

Choo Yilin

Think jade and old-fashioned jewellery might come to mind. But Choo Yilin weaves delightful oriental, and especially Peranakan elements, in its elegant and very modern designs. The jeweller specialises in sapphires, rubies and spinels, so this is the place to head to if you’re looking for something aside from diamonds. After your design’s confirmed, the consultant will convert the drawing into a 3D proto-type for your approval before the final ring is constructed.
