BOBI BROWN CRUSHED LIP COLOUR
If you're gunning for that just-bitten, stained lip effect, you'll want to have one (or all) of Bobbi Brown's Crushed Lip colours in your wedding makeup stash. What I really like about this: you'll barely feel the lightweight and slightly balmy texture with a satiny matte finish, it glides on like a dream and it's super hydrating, thanks to Vitamins E and C, as well as beeswax. In fact, I've been forgoing lip balm when I'm wearing this. Touching up throughout the day is a breeze too - just swipe and go
Try: If you have pink undertones, check out Angel, a pink coral hue that had me looking "fresher and more wide awake", according to my colleague. Lilac is great for a sophisticated day to night look - swipe on a couple more layers for a more intense colour payoff in the evening. Available in 20 shades.
Trust a bridal makeup artist to know what a bride needs! INGA Cosmetics was created by bridal makeup artist as well as founder of Singapore makeup and image consultancy 27A, Marie Soh, when she couldn't find a suitable lipstick that'll last through Singapore's hot and humid climate. Its range of 9 long-lasting lippies with a matte finishing - specially concocted to suit the yellow and pink undertones in Asian skin - are absolutely wearable for weddings!
Try: Allyn, a sweet salmon pink hue for a fresh daytime look, Rowa, for a chic dusty pink hue, or Ora (deep berry burgundy with red glitter flecks) to really amp it up for the evening.
K-PALETTE 1 DAY TATTOO LASTING LIP TINT
The J-beauty brand's famous for its 1 Day Tattoo range, which includes eye liners, brow pencils, cheek and lip tints. The lip tint is packed with Macadamia Nut Oil and Shea Butter that coats your kissers in a nourishing veil of oil. It feels a little heavier than I usually prefer but I have to admit it left my lips delightfully soft and supple when the gloss wore off after lunch. You'll find that the gloss transfers a tad easily but it leaves a pretty and natural-looking pink tint that lasted the whole day.
Try: Rich Rose Pink for a subtle pink (almost nude) hue or Noble Red if you're up for a more vivid lippie.
