From The Straits Times    |

Q: What is your latest collection about?

It reinterprets classic lines and clean finishes with modernity and style. Sophisticated silhouettes are highlighted with carefully placed accents, such as banding, embroidered straps and unique back designs. We’ve also introduced new colours – blush and sand – and new fabrics – crepe, mikado, dupioni, embroidery, and bias-cut charmeuse.

Q: Who is the Digio Bride?
She is someone with a refined sense of style, and who is looking for a gown that makes her feel confident, elegant and glamorous.

Q: Tell us about the design process for a new collection, and the inspiration behind it.
It normally starts with a piece of textile, a beautiful example  of vintage beading, or a gorgeous lace. Trends inspire us, too. We apply whatever is relevant to our brand.

Q: What is your advice to brides searching for their gown?

It does not hurt to do a little research before your first visit to a bridal salon to get an idea of what you like. Keep an open mind and ask the consultant for her advice and expertise. Most importantly, remember to be yourself and follow your heart.

Q: What can we expect from Digio in the future?

We’ll continue to push the boundaries in terms of techniques and fabrications to create exquisite garments that are within the reach of most brides. And we will also continue to prioritise the needs of our customers.

“The collection reinterprets classic lines and clean finishes with modernity and style to meet the needs of the confident, elegant bride.”
