Jewellery worth millions of dollars will dazzle viewers at a new jewellery and sophisticated living exhibition which opens at Ngee Ann City tomorrow.

The inaugural JeweLuxe Singapore, which will occupy more than 10,700 sq ft at Ngee Ann City, will feature jewellery, timepieces, eyewear, fashion and art pieces.

Jewellery labels to look out for include American brands Sylva & Cie and Moritz Glik, both of which are on sale in Singapore for the first time, as well as Italian label Federica Rettore and Malaysian brand DeGem.

Local jewellery labels on show include Glajz, Caratell and Simone Jewels.

Different parts of the exhibition, which will take place from tomorrow to Oct 15, have been curated by various experts.

The show will feature 65 exhibitors from various countries, including Singapore, the United States, Germany, Russia, Thailand, Italy and Malaysia.

In a press release about the event, Ms Angela Loh, founder and chief executive of JeweLuxe, says the 10-day exhibition aims to “satiate the evolving tastes of shoppers for a more discerning retail mix of affordable luxury”.

Besides the sparkling high-end pieces, the exhibition will feature more affordable bling.

These include pieces under $10,000: a melange black zebu horn cuff featuring 9K gold hinges from Federica Rettore (under $10,000); stackable rings in white gold with diamonds, yellow gold and rose gold from Paolo Costagli New York (under $5,000 each); and a yellow gold necklace with fancy cut rectangular diamonds from Chinese label Shirley Zhang (under $2,000). Exact prices of the pieces will be available upon request.
