The “Peaky Blinders” star has been snapped up by the luxury jewelry house and watchmaker to front the new campaign for the timepiece, which was first released in the 1980s.

Taking to Instagram to share the news with her fans, Wallis said: “It is such a great privilege to work with a brand so steeped in iconic history.”

As part of the campaign, Wallis stars in a series of video clips in which she discusses the watch, the concept of fearlessness and what it means to be a “Panthère Woman.” “I hope that there’s a reflection of me in the Panthère watch,” she says in one of the clips. “I think it’s so beautiful and it’s so elegant and it’s so timeless.”

Wallis is the second high-profile signing by Cartier this Spring. The news of her campaign comes weeks after the brand unveiled Hollywood heartthrob Jake Gyllenhaal as the new face of its ‘Santos de Cartier’ watch.
