The air was crisp and the sky was clear; there was a gentle cool breeze as we made our way to Shanghai’s ROJO Art Space for a momentous event: Ralph Lauren’s very first re-see fashion experience in Asia. Set to resemble the brand’s spring/summer 2025 runway show first held in the Hamptons, this was an important milestone for the brand and its loyal customers.

To mark this significant occasion, renowned names in the region were in attendance—be it on the runway or seated at the front row, alongside Ralph Lauren’s Chief Branding and Innovation Officer, David Lauren. It was no doubt a star-studded event; both on and off the runway.

Dressed in white trousers, a blue plaid shirt and a white top layered underneath, Song Joong-Ki had a paisley scarf peeking out from the collar for a charming touch to his fit. Of course, the crowd went wild as the South Korean actor made his way through the “horse stable” doors into the show grounds.

Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung and Japanese supermodel Hikari Mori looked sophisticated in their neutral-hued softly-tailored ensembles, while South Korean-American singer Krystal dazzled in a full look from the spring/summer 2025 collection consisting of a classic tank top and gilded skirt.

Looking as dapper as can be were Thai heartthrobs Zee Pruk Panich and Force Jiratchapong Srisang. While Force opted for a timeless suede blazer, white trousers and black leather loafers, Zee went for a cheerier look by layering a pink sweater beneath his jacket.

Our very own local actresses, Emerald Hill’s Chantalle Ng and Tasha Low, shone bright in champagne and gold gowns respectively. While Chantalle let the braided details of hers speak for itself by keeping the rest of her fit minimal with hoop earrings and a clutch, Tasha played up on accessories with a multi-layered necklace and a Western-styled belt.

There was no short of famous faces on the runway as well with Chinese beauty Du Juan, Japan’s Ai Tominaga—who first walked for Ralph Lauren back in 2001—and the suave Hu Bing, decked out in Prince Charming whites and a broad smile.

Showcasing more than 71 looks, Ralph Lauren’s Resee Fashion Experience in Shanghai saw the perfect melding of the brand’s various lines: Ralph Lauren Collection, Ralph Lauren Purple Label, Polo Ralph Lauren Women’s, Men’s and Children’s. The pieces came together to tell a story of an idyllic home away from home in the Hamptons. From linen pairings for strolls along the beach, to fuss-free sequinned numbers for a soiree by the waters, or simply a frolic by the stables in fringed frocks and crochet skirts. What a life to live!

Throw on your polos and layer them Ralph Lauren style for a day of fun-filled adventure, or have an easy day by the harbour in jumpers and giant totes for all your essentials.

Ralph Lauren’s spring/summer 2025 collection is one that transcends gender and age, that brings together the harmony of family and loved ones—one that has something for everyone, at any time.
