Finally, a post-Ultherapy treatment mask that understands what your skin just went through
Sensitised, receptive and in active recovery – post-treatment skin gets targeted support with the new Ultherapy Mask – PDRN Peptide Radiance
By Her World Team -
If you have just had an Ultherapy PRIME treatment – or are planning one – your aftercare matters more than you might think.
Aesthetic treatments do not end when you leave the clinic. However precise or personalised the procedure, what happens next can shape how well your skin feels, recovers and responds.
While treatments like Ultherapy PRIME are non-invasive and do not disrupt the skin’s surface, your skin may still feel slightly tender, tight or sensitised as it settles in the days after.
Yet many over-the-counter options are not made with post-procedure skin in mind. What the skin needs at this point isn’t just hydration or comfort, but targeted support. Without the proper know-how, many may end up feeling unsure about what at-home care can realistically do to support their treatment results.
That is where PDRN comes in: the skin-regenerating ingredient that’s become a K-beauty staple, now at the heart of Merz Aesthetics’ new Ultherapy Mask – PDRN Peptide Radiance.
It’s part of the newly launched Merz Aesthetics Care Range (Merz AxC), a line of purpose-built skincare solutions designed to bridge in-clinic treatments with at-home care.
“Developed with the same research standards and patient-first approach that made Ultherapy PRIME the category leader, this mask embodies our belief that comprehensive care extends beyond what happens in the treatment room,” explains Dr Owen Sunga, executive vice-president and head of Global Medical Affairs at Merz Aesthetics.
Formulated with PDRN and 20 complex peptides to complement Ultherapy PRIME’s collagen-stimulating effects, the mask extends your treatment results at home.
What makes a post-Ultherapy mask different?
While sheet masks typically focus on surface-level moisture, the Ultherapy Mask – PDRN Peptide Radiance is formulated with a cocktail of ingredients selected to complement the collagen-stimulating effects1 already set in motion by Ultherapy.
Upholding the same standards of efficacy as its namesake device, the formula uses synergistic ingredients that work with – not just after – your treatment.
These include:
- MC-PDRN derived from salmon DNA, to support skin regeneration and restore elasticity2
- Five types of multi-molecular weight hyaluronic acids to deliver intense hydration to different layers of the skin3
- Niacinamide to strengthen the skin barrier4
- 20 complex peptides to support collagen production5
- Adenosine to refine skin tone6, 7
In addition, the mask features a three-piece hydrogel design that fits the contours of the face and neck, providing customised coverage for the upper face, lower face and neck while minimising air gaps for closer contact with the skin.
It is also designed to retain a high concentration of serum, helping active ingredients absorb quickly into the skin.
Says Lawrence Siow, president, APAC, Merz Aesthetics says, “Just as Ultherapy PRIME sets the gold standards of non-invasive skin lifting with personalised, real-time Microfocused Ultrasound with Visualization (MFU-V), Ultherapy Mask – PDRN Peptide Radiance now brings that same commitment to post-treatment care.”
Developed by the makers of Ultherapy PRIME, the mask brings the same patient-first approach to your at-home recovery.
What results can you expect?
Clinical studies back up what the formula sets out to do. Upon application, the mask immediately cools and soothes the skin by seven degrees Celsius8.
It also increases moisture levels by 68 per cent9, leaving skin feeling soft and supple. In turn, this moisture retention helps strengthen the skin’s protective barrier by 23 per cent10, helping to lift and firm by increasing skin elasticity11 for a more youthful appearance.
Finally, the Ultherapy Mask – PDRN Peptide Radiance is also tested and verified by dermatologists, non-irritanting and free from fragrance, ethyl alcohol and parabens – making it gentle enough for sensitive skin*.
How often should you use it?
For best results, the mask is recommended for use on the same day as an Ultherapy PRIME treatment to help soothe and hydrate the skin immediately after the procedure.
Thereafter, it can be used once every two weeks to calm sensitised skin and rebuild the moisture barrier over time.
The Ultherapy Mask – PDRN Peptide Radiance is priced at $100 for a box of four individually packaged masks, available through Ultherapy PRIME providers and selected aesthetic clinics.
*Results may vary depending on individual skin condition.
