Here’s a list of old favourites you’ll find on Netflix.

1) Magic School Bus

Who can forget the affable Ms Frizzle! 90s kids and parents will remember this educational show that taught us how a bus can transform kids into salmon and let them go through the full life cycle of this aquatic creature. I could watch this forever.

2) Grease

If you’ve never caught this, you need to now. The original High School Musical, this has drama, sex (well, sort of) comedy and most importantly music! Famous songs include, “Summer Lovin'” and “You’re the One That I want” – also known as “You’re dawandatiwan doo doo doo!”

3) Forrest Gump

“Mama said life’s like a box of cho-colates”. Remember that line? No? What about “Run Forrest! Run!” This movie of the brilliant Forrest Gump changed my life. Almost so perfect it was a fairytale, it gave me hope and reminded me that anything can happen.

4) Gremlins

This forgotten horror movie was about a cuddly little creature that multiplied into horrific gremlins – mutant miniature gargoyle-like freaks – that could only be killed with… water? I think? Think Furbies that can move and terrify.

5) Inception

When you feel like you need to get a little smarter… or a little bit more confused, this show about a man within a dream of a dream, of a dream, of a dream, of a dream… of a dream. Is for you.

6) Empresses In The Palace

Alright, I’m gonna come out and say it. I’ve never watched this show. I think it’s also known as  The Legend of Zhen Huan and Hou Gong Zhen Huan Zhuan. But quite a number of people tell me it’s a good Chinese drama to watch. Yeah… I’ll hold my breath. Either way, it’s here on the list for the fans!

7) Clueless

Valley-girl speak originated from this movie. This Alicia Silverstone classic is definitely worth watching if you’ve never seen it before. You know the song “Fancy” by Iggy Azalea? Yeah inspired by this. Watch it!
