Fancy a restaurant-style Italian meal at home in Singapore? Splurge a little on fresh pasta, and the rest is a cinch. Buon appetito!

If you can’t find some wild rocket at the supermarket, use spinach or a mix of fresh basil leaves and parsley. This recipe serves two.

INGREDIENTS
1 packet Buitoni cheese & roasted garlic tortellini
200g Barilla basilico pasta sauce
50g wild rocket
1 tbsp olive oil
Perfect italiano parmesan cheese wedge, to garnish
1 loaf Sunshine garlic bread, toasted
 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cook tortellini in a pot of boiling water according to instructions on packet, and drain.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the pasta sauce. Remove from heat.
  3. Toss tortellini and wild rocket leaves in pasta sauce. Drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Shave cheese with a vegetable peeler over the pasta.
  5. Serve with sliced garlic bread.
