Mention Oscar de la Renta and a vision of beautiful gowns, each too expensive to ever own, will come to mind. Thanks to The Outnet however, that dream of an Oscar dress will soon become reality.

Designer online outlet The Outnet’s latest collaboration is with designer to the stars, Mr de la Renta himself. There will be a collection of 24 ready-to-wear pieces that consists of fifties-reminiscent silhouettes such as full skirts, wide leg pants and skirt suits.

This capsule collection will be a revival of sorts of archival Oscar de la Renta runway pieces; some of his most memorable runway pieces through the years have been recreated with new shapes and fabrics.

The always impeccably stylish Olivia Palermo is the face of the collaboration, and she’s the perfect choice, because everything just looks so amazing on her.

We’re particularly liking the black-and-white ikat print dress that she’s wearing with a gold chain belt and jewellery; that’s really something we can see ourselves wearing over and over.

The Oscar de la Renta for The Outnet collection will be available on www.theoutnet.com starting today.
