Shoppers seeking good buys and sellers looking to offload items can now turn to a new online portal with the official launch of STClassifieds last Tuesday, October 30.
The website, owned by Singapore Press Holdings (SPH), replaces ST701 Shops.

Under the revamped website at www.STClassifieds.sg, searches are split into four categories that target specific interests – For Him, For Her, For Kids and For Household. Festive themes for occasions such as Christmas will also be launched.
These features are in addition to groupings such as fashion, and computer and electronics that were included on the former site.
Mr Johnson Goh, who heads SPH’s online classifieds business, said: “With more people using the Internet to buy and sell things, we see the introduction of STClassifieds as timely and a service to them.”
STClassifieds product manager Tan Yexiang added: “We have introduced stringent checks in our system to monitor potential fraud cases and minimise spam occurrences so as to provide a pleasant user experience for everyone.”
In conjunction with the launch, users can anticipate special hourly deals offered by the site’s partners and merchants, starting today. Products such as the new iPad, iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S III and Kate Spade bags will be going at 30 per cent to 80 per cent off their original retail prices.
The STClassifieds app is available for Android smartphones, and is targeted for an end-November rollout for iPhone and iPad users. -STRAITS TIMES.COM
