When Pantone announced two years ago that the colour of the year would be Rose Quartz (or as we’d like to call it, millenial pink), we thought “oh okay, that’s cool.” But little did we know that that pastel hue will soon invade everything we’re into – beauty, fashion, furniture and even our choice of office desk decoration. Just like Boston brand New Balance which has released their classic 574 sneakers in five pastel shades – Clear Blue, Daybreak, Faded Rose, Seafoam and White.
Beyond the obvious skew towards a more pleasing colourway (and an instagram friendly one), the formula of the Classic 574 remains the same – a suede and vintage-inspired mesh goes on the sneaker’s upper body whilst rubber outsole with grooved tracks on the bottom ensures comfort with each step and anti-slip.
