Kenzo's Holiday Collection

1/9

If we were Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, the creative directors of the French brand, we would have called this the Greatest Hits collection. Why?

It’s a re-edition of the duo’s best, and cult, works in the 10 years they have been with Kenzo: from the already iconic logo-ed and tiger pullovers (every fashion influencer, fashion poser, fashion collector, K-pop artist had one) to their ’80s lurex skirts and dresses – all in non-designer wear prices.

If you're going to be doing a branded sweatshirt, take it from brands who do great - no obvious logos or garish prints, just their brand name on the front to seal the deal. We like ours in a rainbow hued font like this one.

Lurex cap, $165 and cotton sweatshirt, $395

7/9

The easiest (and fiscally responsible) way to buy into the Kenzo sartorial life would be their caps. Why? Great for bad hair days, great for the #selfie gram and is relatively low-key as compared to their sweaters.

Move sneakers, $415

The bedrock of our local culture would be to wear either a pair of white sneakers (trust us, everybody owns a pair) or a pair of thongs - it's time to try the over-the-top version of the former today.

This story first appeared in the December 2017 issue of Her World.
