Like any hot-blooded women, the herworldplus.com team appreciates the sinewy curves of a sculpted male body. And who can argue against the fact that a little bit of ink, especially if done well, adds a whole lot of sex appeal to what would otherwise be just another hot bod.

Here’s our pick for the five tattooed celebrities that have made their mark on our hearts:

Sexiest-1 Adam Levine

We’ve been seeing plenty of Adam Levine’s bare body lately, from his Moves Like Jagger music video to his raunchy photo shoot for testicular cancer awareness. The frontman of Maroon 5’s tattoos include a guitar on his left forearm, a large tiger on his other, and a dove and cherry blossoms amidst a mass of floral designs. And just like the title of his third studio album, we’d sure like to get our Hands All Over him.

Tom Hardy

After winning a slew of awards for his role in Inception, Tom Hardy has gotten the public talking not just about his spectacular acting chops but about his collection of tattoos as well. The over 20 tattoos on his body, include odes to his ex-wife and son, as well as designs of the Union Jack, the London skyline and a leprechaun – all paying homage to his heritage, we suppose. We’re pretty excited to see him as the villain Bane in upcoming movie The Dark Knight Rises, especially since we hear he’s been beefing up for the role. Image: Tumblr

Robbie Williams

This British bad boy is no stranger to tattoos. His body is practically an art canvas with about 14 tattoos ranging from a Celtic cross on his right hip and Maori tribal designs on his left arm, to a pair of old-school swallows on his abdomen and a lion head on his right arm. Take his rugged, devil-may-care appeal; combined with his husky vocals, and you get one sexy hunk whom we would love to have serenade us everyday – shirtless of course.

David Beckham

We wish David Beckham would take his shirt off more both on and off the field. The gorgeous soccer player has proudly displayed his inked body both on the field and in ads for brands like Calvin Klein and Emporio Armani. Among the multitude of designs lie a large crucifixion scene that takes place on his back, a canvas of clouds floating down both his arms, and the names of his wife and sons in various languages. If only soccer garb didn’t come with shirts.

Johnny Depp

The pioneer “body of art”, this versatile actor’s tattoos are as numerous and diverse as his acting roles, with many of them signifying important people in his life. They include the names of his mother, children and ex-fiance, Winona Ryder (which now reads “Wino Forever” instead “Winona Forever”). We love you just as much, Johnny, how come we don’t get a tattoo on your arm as well?
