Think Singapore Night Festival (we talked about it before) where you get to take a romantic stroll while viewing the epic light installations, Beerfest that showcases a whole range of craft beers including an oyster stout and more. Sounds pretty fun to you? Then read on to find out which five events have we specially picked out for you.

 

Singapore Night Festival

 

 

The annual Singapore Night Festival is back again! Starting tonight till Aug 26, you get to enjoy multiple light shows and performances throughout the Civic District. Immerse yourself in GLOBE’s fantasy theatrical world or have a look at the roving Bulb Heads and The Time Minders display. It’s going to be a real pretty sight with all the night lights, be sure to bring your beau along.

In light of the Singapore Night Festival’s tenth year anniversary, Aesop will celebrate such a joyous occasion with an evocative experience, initiated by light, titled ‘Nostos: Records of the Self’. So what exactly is this event about? A unique scent is offered to mark the occasion and inspire the festival, it celebrates the intrinsic link between scent and memory. Light is used to heat up essential oils in ten handcrafted steel wells while the scent permeates the space to create a soothing and relaxing environment.

Calling all craft beer lovers, the ninth installation of Beerfest is back. Featuring boutique beers from various breweries that you cannot find in the local market, such as the Iwatekura oyster stout from MTC Sake booth, or the four new Singlish beers from Archipelago Brewery – Ah Ka Ji Craft Lager, Tok Kong American IPA, Ki Siao Brown Ale and Sibei Ho Witbier.
