If songs like “Bleeding Love” and “Happy” are on your playlist, you’ll be excited to know that the first female winner of X-Factor, Leona Lewis, will be performing in Singapore soon!
The Brit songstress will be headlining the entertainment at the inaugural Clash of Continents Tennis Championship on November 25 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
This is the first time Lewis will be performing in Singapore.
Lewis will be serenading fans on the final day of the tennis event during the break in tennis action that will feature a women’s exhibition match between Slovakia’s Daniela Hantuchova and China’s Peng Shuai and the main event where male tennis stars Mardy Fish, Juan Monaco, Kei Nihikori, Janko Tipsarevic will be battling for the championship title.
In hope of promoting the sport in Singapore and Asia, organisers feel that an artist like Lewis will help bring the sport and entertainment together.
The 27‐year‐old former X‐Factor winner said, “I am excited to finally perform in front of my fans in Singapore. I have heard so many wonderful things about the country that I am looking forward to spending more time in Singapore soon.
“After the excitement of The Olympics and Wimbledon this summer I’m a huge tennis fan and I am looking forward to watching the matches at Clash of Continents.”
We’re pretty sure that tennis and music will make a great combination and we can’t wait to catch some of the action.
