When it comes to healthy eating, the acai bowl trend isn’t fading out just yet. Besides dedicated acai cafes, more and more restaurants in Singapore have been adding these Insta-worthy bowls to their menu. The latest contender? Greendot.
After introducing a vegetarian salmon poke bowl to the menu last year, the vegetarian eatery recently launched a new café concept at its Paya Lebar and One Raffles Place outlets, where these trendy acai bowls are sold.
With three flavours to choose from, these indulgent acai bowls are big enough for sharing with your breakfast buddy. Packed with the goodness of fibre, vitamin C and antioxidants, they not only aid in healthier digestion but also help in giving you that youthful and radiant-looking skin.
Greendot’s Crunchy Orchestra Acai Bowl ($9.90)
If you go nuts over, well, nuts, then go for the Crunchy Orchestra acai bowl. It’s got a mix of cashew nuts, almonds and pumpkin seeds for a great source of protein, as well as dragonfruit, strawberry and cranberries for that sweet boost in flavour, antioxidants and vitamin C.
Greendot’s Acai Goes Chia Chia Acai Bowl ($10.90)
Blended with soya milk and banana for natural sweetness, the Acai Goes Chia Chia acai bowl is loaded with chia seeds. Despite their tiny size, the seeds are extremely rich in nutrients such as fibre and omega-3. It comes with a medley of strawberries, blueberries, and added texture from granola, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds.
Greendot’s Jazz Me Up! Acai Bowl ($12.90)
Coconut lovers will gravitate towards the Jazz Me Up! acai bowl, which has a generous serving of coconut sprinkles, alongside chunks of fruits such as dragonfruit, kiwi, strawberry and blueberry. Besides granola for extra crunch, this variation also contains sweet goji berries, which are high in fibre and antioxidants.
We hear new flavours may be added in the future, so stay tuned.
