Call it a quiet takeover. Or better yet, don’t – since Thailand’s biggest stars aren’t exactly sneaking up on anyone anymore. They’re headlining fashion campaigns, selling out arenas, and showing up on international red carpets with the kind of poise that says, “We’ve been ready.”

In 2025 alone, we’ve seen Tay Tawan step into global ambassador status with Loewe, Nani Hirunkit become the face of Maison Margiela Fragrances in Southeast Asia, and Metawin Opas-iamkajorn front a buzzy new Shiseido campaign. Pretty impressive for a scene the world once saw as “up-and-coming”.

There’s no denying it now – Thai talent is everywhere, and it’s only gaining ground. From actors to musicians to multi-hyphenates, these are the names leading the charge and expanding the footprint of Thai pop culture on the global stage.

He became widely recognised for his portrayal of Pete in Kiss: The Series (2016) and its sequels Kiss Me Again and Dark Blue Kiss, where he was praised for his emotionally grounded performances and strong screen chemistry.

In 2023, Tay took on the role of Karan in Cherry Magic, the Thai adaptation of the Japanese manga, which allowed him to explore a blend of romance, fantasy, and quiet introspection. He followed up with a lead role in the supernatural comedy Peaceful Property (2024), and a supporting part in Break Up Service (2025), continuing to showcase his range across genres.

Tay has also steadily expanded his presence in the fashion scene. After being appointed a friend of the house by Loewe in 2024, he was named the brand’s global ambassador in June 2025. He has since represented Loewe at Paris Fashion Week and participated in the brand’s “Crafted World” exhibition in Shanghai, earning praise for his style and versatility.
