Coffee-chain Starbucks are now not only responsible for perking up our afternoons but also actively supporting the local autism community.

This time, Starbucks has teamed up with Project Raw Gems, a campaign started by final-year NTU students to encourage businesses to offer employment to individuals with autism.

Project Raw Gems aims to show that people with autism are perfectly capable of not only supporting themselves but of being valuable members of the community, check out its Facebook page for more information on what the project is about.

So, in support, Starbucks will be offering a free tall-sized coffee drink to those who “like” Project Raw Gems’ Facebook page and present a screenshot of it at any Starbucks outlet between 3pm and 5pm on Tuesday, March 20.

Head to the Project Raw Gems’ Facebook page for more information and to “Like” the page. Then head to any Starbucks outlet on Tuesday, March 20, between 3pm and 5pm, and show off your “Like” screenshot to get your free coffee.
