According to the brand, the Chinese zodiac horse is all about “following one’s path, unrestrained expression, and freedom.” Designed in a classic Vans hi-top shape, the shoes nod to the animal with a faux horse-hair effect, a leather heel counter and a horseshoe print on the waffle sole.

Fifteen different creatives representing a range of young Chinese talent including Zhang Jiayi and Cherry Gun out of Beijing, shoe designer Kim Kiroic in Shanghai and hip hop artist Kafe He from Chengdu are also contributing to the project with a range of collaborative work. – AFP RELAXNEWS
