1. Prada’s Etiquette

French for “label”, this is the Italian brand’s latest bag collection, which includes three styles – a rectangular tote, a flap bag, and a South-east Asia and Japan-exclusive double-zip number.

Made of buttery soft calf leather and lined with suede, each style has a plain and a studded option, and comes in four colours (marine blue, black, dusty pink and white). Prices range from $2,950-$3,210.

2. Risis’ Orchid Rhapsody

The second tier of orchids is detachable from this tri-colour piece.

Real renantanda orchid blooms (you’ve read that right) – native to South-east Asia – are the stars of this three-piece necklace collection created for Singapore’s 52nd birthday. Each carefully chosen flower is plated in rose gold, palladium or 24K gold before several of them are arranged together to create a necklace. $419-$499.

3. Not for the pool

Embellished, festooned or wrapped with real fur – and mostly not even in rubber anymore – the slider has been elevated from slop-around duty to the latest life hack.

We’ve picked out five pairs that won’t look out of place even if you wear them to Singapore’s coolest shops:

4. The Finisher: Coloured Tights

At Maje, red perks up a simple floral dress.

They were right in the ’80s, then became wrong after. And now, what do you know? They’re right again to give every short dress or skirt the perfect dose of cool.

Tom Ford pairs a pair of vibrant tights with equally striking separates.

How to work it: Pick a bright shade – but complementary to your outfit – and the more opaque the tights, the better.

(Still not sure of coloured tights? We’ll teach you to wear fishnets instead.)

5. The Tweed Jacket

Ever since Gabrielle Chanel created the tweed jacket in 1954 (she was inspired by an Austrian man’s jacket), the topper has become the mainstay at the fashion house she founded, and it continues to influence others this season.

Why? It’s the jacket to grab when you need to add polish to casuals. Here are four pieces that’ll keep you looking sharp for less than $200:
