Despite the fact that DKNY Original has been around since 1999, the timeless scent and iconic skyscraper-shaped bottle remains one of the brand’s best-sellers.

Now it is being revamped. Maintaining the original scent as a base, the new DKNY Women Energizing Eau de Toilette (EDT) has been “energised” and lightened with a mix of chilled vodka, tomato leaves and sharp citrus scents. 

The heart of the fragrance is a blend of water lily, green coral orchids and yellow daffodils, finished off with white birch and tulip tree.  

As part of the relaunch, and new addition, DKNY has also created a series of advertisements featuring real-life couple Anja Rubik and Sasha Knezevic making out in iconic New York scenes – even stopping traffic in a classic yellow taxi (pictured above).

“I wanted to be the person who bottled the energy of New York City,” says influential New York designer, Donna Karan, about the original DKNY scent.

The addition of the new EDT matches the “re-energising” of the brand. So you won’t be confused, the new DKNY Women Energizing is an Eau de Toilette comes in a clear crystal bottle and white carton (pictured left), while the DKNY Original Eau De Parfum bottle is opaque comes in a silver box (right).

Although both fragrances are similar, the DKNY Original has heavier top notes, so if you prefer the white birch and tulip tree, then chose the Eau De Parfum version.

The new DKNY Women Energizing Eau de Toilette is available from Tangs Orchard and VivoCity, Robinsons Centrepoint and Raffles City, Metro Paragon, Isetan Scotts and Takashimaya and costs $92 for 100ml or $62 for 50ml.
