See Louis Vuitton’s signature bags in a brand new — and artistic — light.

Teaming up once again with New York-based artist Jeff Koon, Louis Vuitton is rolling out a capsule collection titled ‘Masters Chapter 2′.

This time, the collection will feature the works of Claude Monet, Paul Gauguin, Édouard Manet, Nicolas Poussin, J.M.W. Turner and François Bouche.

These art masterpieces will be transposed onto the canvas of a selection of Louis Vuitton bags and wallets: Claude Monet – Water Lilies (1916); Édouard Manet – Luncheon on the Grass (1863); Paul Gauguin – Delightful Land (1892); J.m.W. Turner – Ancient Rome (1839); Francois Boucher – Reclining Girl (1752); and Nicolas Poussin – The Triumph of Pan (1636)

From Keepall bags to Speedy handbags and Neverfulls, the new collection will present the same bag models as the inaugural variants.

These items will be flourished by way of Vuitton’s signature monograms and Jeff Koon’s signature — both of which are gilded in gold.

Reconfiguring the signature Louis Vuitton monogram to bear Koon’s initials is a rare gesture for the House, so this is a collection you don’t want to miss out on.
