Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), CENTRESTAGE is Asia’s prime fashion event in Hong Kong to create connections across the fashion industry. It debuted last year to link international and Asian fashion brands to fashion buyers, recognise award winning designers, bring emerging talents to the world stage, and give the fashioncentric public insider trends, news and views.

The four-day trade show – from Sept 6-9 – at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai, will have runway shows, events and seminars. Participating fashion brands will be spread out over three thematic zones: GLAM, ALLURE and METRO. GLAM showcases the top international brands that define the industry now; ALLURE highlights elegant and sophisticated designs; and METRO focuses on the current luxe athleisure movement.

The first three days (Sept 6-8) are only for fashion insiders. Various spectacular events include: CENTRESTAGE ELITES, the opening-night gala show to honour the region’s red-hot designers; and the Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers’ Contest (YDC), a platform for up-and-coming talents.

On the last day of CENTRESTAGE on Sept 9, it will be transformed into OPENSTAGE, where the public (aged 12 and above) can experience fashion events, take in the latest collections up close, and participate in various activities.

To share the excitement of the fashion industry with the public, CENTRESTAGE will partner with the city’s top brands, hotels, malls and restaurants for a month-long citywide Hong Kong in Fashion campaign with a number of activities. Let’s soak up the fashion atmosphere!
