Harper’s Bazaar is back for its third edition of the Asia NewGen Fashion Award, and we have our Singapore representative.

The five-month search for the next upcoming fashion designer came to a close last week, where finalists Ng May Ee and Fedri Mak showcased their collections at Pedder on Scotts to nearly 200 people.

Finalists Fedri Mak and Ng May Ee

Fedri Mak, a graduate of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts took home the winning title and a $3,000 cheque in his name, but fret not, Ng May Ee didn’t go home empty handed. The Lasalle student took home a $2,000 cheque for her future projects.

What happens now? Well, the finalists are set to represent Singapore at the regional stage, where they stand to win a Master’s Degree at renowned fashion design school, Instituto Marangoni. How cool is that?! #SingaporeRepresent

And if you’d like to take a closer look at Fedri Mak’s winning Body in Motion collection, then you’re in luck. Nicole Warne of Gary Pepper Girl and Harper’s Bazaar Editor-in-Chief Kenneth Goh opened his, along with the other finalists’, collection at Pedder on Scotts last week, and the collections will be on display from now until June, 5, 2016.

Pedder on Scotts is located at Level 2, Scotts Square, 6 Scotts Rd, Singapore 228209
