Cle De peau Beaute's new beauty counter is so luxurious
This new set-up for Japanese brand Cle De Peau Beaute feels more like a fancy store itself

The brand doesn’t just make some of the most expensive and luxe skincare in the market. (Its skin-transforming Synactif Cream costs a whopping $1,800!) It also does makeup amazingly well, its $92-a-pop lipsticks are a must-have splurge for every woman, and its $105 concealer is a cult favourite. That’s why the brand has attractive up-front displays for both its skincare and makeup ranges, just welcoming customers to step in to see and experience the full ranges.
We love the interior finishings of the counter. It features wooden floors in a chic chevron pattern, plush cushioned seats, sleek marble and acrylic display counters, and the perfect not-too-bright-not-too-dim lighting to check out all the merchandise.
Instead of standing up to get a consultation, the brand has two cosy counters where you sit side by side with a beauty advisor and experience the products. There are even soft touch pads attached to each consultation table where the advisors can let you touch and feel the products on your hands or give you a hand massage.
Unlike many other makeup counters where you are standing or sitting in plain sight when you try on the makeup or get a mini makeover, in this new Cle de peau counter, you sit behind the privacy of the big display that’s right in front, while the makeup experts doll you up. The makeup area is like a professional backstage makeup counter with proper lighting so you can check out all the makeup to your heart's content.
There’s not one but two simple but sleek facial cabins hidden behind the counter where customers can experience the brand’s famously pampering facials. The facial services are specially for Cle De Peau Beaute’s VIP members; but if you’re not, a facial is redeemable with $300 worth of product purchases
