Kate Hudson: iPhone app keeps me in shapeKate Hudson has revealed how a pilates smart phone application got her back into shape after giving birth.

The actress has been photographed flaunting her toned abdominals in a tiny bikini on a beach in Mexico with her fiancé Matt Bellamy.

The images surfaced just eight months after giving birth to her second son Bingham.

The Bride Wars star, 32, uses a workout phone application created by her personal trainer Nicole Stuart’s for while she’s on the road.

She does 40 minute exercise routines in hotel rooms, film sets and beaches as she travels regularly for work.

“I love Nicole’s app,” she said, according to Look magazine. “I take it with me whenever I travel. It keeps me in top shape.”

Nicole, who also trains Anna Faris, says Kate does a combination of Pilates movies and cardio exercises for her abs, bottom, arms and hips.

She recommended Kate 10 minutes of daily “cardio blasts”, which includes skipping, jogging or running up stairs.

“Do at least 30 minutes of heart-pounding activity at least four days a week,” Nicole advises. She adds Kate also takes an exercise ball which can deflate on her travels to achieve her US size 2 (UK size 6) figure.

Nicole suggests other new mothers start working out soon after giving birth. “What’s best for post-pregnancy is jumping straight back in the saddle,” she added.

In earlier interviews Kate, who had her first son Ryder in 2004, has declared she is “not a dieter” and prefers exercise.
