WHERE DOES IT HURT?
Stand upright and look straight. Slowly bend forward as far as you can without bending your knees, then return to the starting position.

Next, bend backwards without bending your knees, so you are looking at the ceiling, then return to the starting position.

Ask yourself: Was it painful going forward, backwards or both ways?

IF IT HURTS WHEN YOU BEND FORWARD, TRY ONE OF THESE POSITIONS:

#1 Do it doggy style; support your body using your hands and knees, and arch your back slightly.

#2 Lie on your front with a pillow under your chest, with your man behind you or on top of you.

#3 Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet resting on the bed, with your man on top of you.

#4 Stand with your man behind you; arch your back and stick your bottom out.

IF IT HURTS BOTH WAYS, TRY ONE OF THESE POSITIONS:

#5 Lie on your side with your hips and knees slightly bent. Your man should be behind you.

#6 Lie on your back, with one pillow under your head and another under your knees, resting your heels on the bed. Your man should be on top of you.

IF IT HURTS WHEN YOU BEND BACKWARDS, TRY ONE OF THESE POSITIONS:

#7 Lie on your side in a fetallike position with your man behind you.

#8 Lie on your front, with a pillow or two under your stomach and pelvis; do not arch your back.

#9 Lie on your back, with your legs up and knees brought towards your chest.

#10 Get on top of your man, kneeling and bending forward, using your hands for support.
