You’ll find this scene familiar (it’s a common one in fairy tales like Cinderella or Snow White) — Prince Charming galloping across the fields and charging onwards to rescue the girl of his dream.

Except this time, it was a real-life Prince. We’re talking about Prince Harry who arrived on our sunny shores on Monday (June 4, 2017) for his Singapore visit. As part of his visit, the 32-year-old royal family member toured the Actions for Aids Singapore mobile van (which provides quick HIV tests), he also broke fast with local Muslims at Jamiyah Singapore’s headquarters.

The highlight of his trip was of course his polo match at the Singapore Polo Club last evening. There, the Prince changed out of his blazer and into his polo get-up for the Sentebale Royal Salute Polo Cup 2017.

Held in South East Asia for the first time, the annual competition saw Team Sentebale (consisting of Prince Harry, Alexander de Lisle, Malcolm Borwick and Satinder Garcha) compete against Team St Regis (Giles Twiss, Patrick Furlong, Nacho Figueras and J.B. Lee).

The competition’s aim? To raise awareness for HIV and AIDS, and support the young people living with HIV in sub-Saharan Africa. At the VIP and spectators’ lounge, actresses such as Karen Gillan and Joanne Froggatt were spotted. And the winning team was (*drum roll*) Team Sentebale, which took home the coveted trophy after beating Team St Regis with a 5-2 score.
