Wah Nails Versace for H&M manicure

The excitement surrounding the recently launched Versace for H&M clothing line has spilled into the realm of beauty, with the emergence of nail art inspired by the collection.

The much hyped partnership between the Italian fashion house and high street giant H&M finally hit European stores on November 17 before reaching North America November 19.

With reports of some branches selling out in a matter of minutes, there’s good news for those who didn’t get their hands on the line as they can get into the Versace for H&M mood with a manicure inspired by the colorful collection instead.

London-based nail artists Wah Nails, whose outlets include Topshop Oxford Street, have come up with a Versace for H&M manicure inspired by the print of the best-selling blue and green Stampa jacket.

New York’s Naomi Yasuda, whose celebrity clients include Lady Gaga and Amber Rose, showcased a bejeweled Versace for H&M inspired print on Twitter, featuring motifs inspired by the Versace for H&M line including the studded leather jacket and gold tiger necklace.

Meanwhile, UK-based blogger The Illustrated Nail recently posted a black and gold Versace nail print.

Or, for those who are suffering from Versace for H&M overload, head to You Tube, where there are tutorials on creating nails inspired by some of the world’s most recognizable fashion symbols, such as the Chanel chain, Burberry plaid print and Missoni’s rainbow patterns. –AFP RELAXNEWS
