As part of Rihanna’s quest to celebrate diversity and challenge ideals of beauty, the “Diamonds” singer teamed up with LVMH, the same company that brought you Marc Jacobs Beauty and Kat Von D Cosmetics to launch her very own cosmetics line, Fenty Beauty. Having collaborated with MAC cosmetics in the past, the style chameleon is no stranger to the beauty industry.

While the exact products are still top secret, rumour has it that there is an extensive selection of up to 40 foundation shades. The mogul was also lauded for featuring a diverse lineup of models, including a model who donned a headscarf in her official Fenty Beauty campaign video. Watch above!

This means that bad gal RiRi’s line is likely to be inclusive of women of colour, who often struggle finding their right match with general makeup brands. For many Asian women, finding a perfect shade of foundation is truly an uphill battle since most foundation shades in the market just don’t have undertones to match those in Asian skin. With a wide array of foundation shades available, Fenty Beauty could just be one of the most comprehensive foundation lines to date.

Thus far, the singer has showcased three lust-worthy products from the makeup line. The first product is a yellowish gold shimmery eyeshadow aptly named Trophy Wife. If you’re keen to jump on the highlighter bandwagon, this subtle glitter eyeshadow also doubles as a highlighter to add warmth to your makeup look.

The second item is a buttery powder highlight duo called killawatt that will let you shine bright like a diamond. The internet is abuzz with speculation that this highlight duo was the same highlighter that graced Rihanna’s cheeks at the recent Fenty x Puma event in LA. If it’s good enough for the trendsetter, it’s good enough for us.

In addition to the embossed eyeshadow and highlight duo, beauty addicts can also look forward to a glittery 90s-esque glossy liquid lipstick that seems to be on everyone’s lips in the campaign video – even the queen herself, Rihanna, who made an appearance at the end of the video. This holographic lip colour was said to be the first product to be released under the Fenty label. The pearlescent lippie was first seen on the models at the Fenty x Puma spring/summer 2017 show.
